A press release from RBD has confirmed that the Mexican pop group will disband. According to the announcement on RBD's official website, the members of the group will go their separate ways after they perform in farewell tours in Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Les comunicamos que nuestros próximos conciertos que ofreceremos el 21, 23 y 25 en Madrid, Santiago de Compostela y Barcelona, marcarán el principio de esta etapa final.

Por ahora los próximos shows confirmados son Serbia, Eslovenia, Rumania, Venezuela, Argentina, Perú, Brasil un concierto muy especial en Los Ángeles CA, y por supuesto nuestro querido México.

Esperamos poder reunirnos pronto en cada uno de nuestros shows y sentir esa magia que nos ha acompañado durante estos cuatro años.

i cant believe this is happening they are so good together i know this was bound to happend but i think it was to soon for them to split up. And anahi said on her blog in univision that none of them wanted to split it was out of their hands. she even encourage the fans to do marchs so the group wont split.

well i think it was about time..i loved la novela!! i even think i would watch it again..but rbd time iz over!!!..the last cd'zzzz they had were kinda borin..4 real..nada maz sus primeros 2 eran buenozzz...the rbdmania haz been over!!!!...i mean we knew this was gona happen, i mean maite is already doin a novela, i really doubt she can handle both!!!..i like them..but their time izzz over.

it needed to happen sooner or later. & it's better to go out while u still have fans, and are successful. they lasted longer than ppl thought they would. but i mean, they're young, talented, and have bright futures ahead of them. Besides, Christian & Alfonso were doing theater, Maite with her novela, and well, they were all doing their own things & i mean, they can't do EVERYTHING @ the same time, so it's all good.

its all about the cash... in a few years theyre gonna get back together watch maybe like a tour or maybe even an album just to squeeze the cheese out of us... im very picky with music, but more than a silly teenager trend, these guys were actually good, i actually love their music, and im not a big fan of pop. Oh well, on their last album casi nadie los pelo como con sus otros discos, y Empezar Desde Cero fue un muy buen album. Pero todos sabiamos ke solo eran una moda y ya se habia pasado desde ase un rato
